The bonsai pot shown above was made by me earlier
this year. Drying it slowly, bisque firing, glazing and finally stoneware
firing took months to complete. Well, better late than never, and I think it
was worth the wait. The design was inspired by jumping spiders (family
Salticidae), so I called it the ‘Spider Pot’. To me the similarity is obvious
(see images below).
